blatant warnings or subtle signs?
People who know me well enough know that I don't put my faith in a certain God.
Rather i choose to believe that the world acts on a Karmic Balance. That whatever I do is going to affect what happens to me eventually instead.
that's why when I'm seeing the huge influx of signs pointing to me looking out for betrayals i'm beginning to wonder if there really is a God at work haha.
Call me paranoid, i won't deny that. I think that's wad makes me err...ME. hehe.
anyway, went out with Mee Han, Ben and Abdul to watch a movie.
Mo Gong. in English its called the Battle of Wits. TV Mobile hyped it up to be some 4THOUSAND ARMY BATTLES 10 THOUSAND STRONG ARMY. HOW CAN THEY WIN?
ok la. so like any stupid movie like this, THE UNDERDOG ALWAYS WINS. inexplicably, inevitably, invariably. They just do.
What I expected though was something like Deathnote la. just Smart moves and all.
Turns out there were alot of other factors and all that.
FACTOR 1: the 10k strong army was merely conquering them BY THE WAY. Their main target was some other country. so this battle had to be a quick and decisive one.
FACTOR 2: There were natural barriers to protect a few gates effectively meaning only 2 gates could be attacked.
so it wasn't that much of an impossible i think. ok la. still difficult la, but it wasn't that much la. the odds not as bad as it sounds.
and irritatingly, there was mre emphasis on the betrayal, THAN the smart tactics la. he only displayed his tactics 3 times. wad de hawk la. sian.
ok so the smart moves were like really smart. But wad was interesting was the betrayals. It was really biting the hand that helped you man. The king of the country the main character (played by andy lau so i shall say andy lau here) was protecting felt that his position in the country was being compromised because Andy was doing such a good job and was gaining the respect of the people ala CCP and Mao.
So after the Enemy troops had seemingly left, he schemed to kill Andy for trying to 'overthrow' him through some VERY VERY TWISTED LOGIC. the kind that even divide by 3 also doesn't make sense one.
it was like "if this guy comes into a country on the pretext of protecting the country, charms the people, and builds up support, is this not rebellion?"
I mean like WTF? this is absolutely WHAT THE FUCK LA? oh please, if this is rebellion i'm probably some president or something. omg. abit the too le-cheh(malay for troublesome) eh.
so this idiot turns against him and kills all his supporters. i mean andy's. like ouch.
and he removes the throat of this girl who loves andy. and even tries to do 5 ma fen si. essentially the hands and legs and head of a person are each tied to the legs of 5 respective horses. they make the horse run, splitting the person into 5. DAMN PAIN. nb. trust chinese to come up with this kind of killing methods.
I think its quite sad la. to see the country that you helped to survive, just turn around and bite you in the back when oure not looking.
then again this is wad human nature is all about isn't it. use you to get to knwo someone else, then stab your back when you're strong enough on your own. and finally kill you when so that you can achieve your means of getting her (i realised this might insuniate some thoughts in certain people. so to kinda clear the air, usually if u kena backstabbed. is for like girls or this sort of things. quite standard. or a job. in this case it was a country. and countries are usually referred to as her. so yea hehe). or attempting so.
haix. life is just..so so sad. the worst thing about it is that we can never see the spots of a leopard until it really comes, reading the signs help though.
CONSTANT VIGILANCE.
damn i think i'm like some wet blanket. i tell people to break up. i tell people to look out for other people. lol. haix. maybe its my nature, to learn from past mistakes.
I think that in many ways than one. I need to re-think my impression of relationships. as friends. and stuff. especially boy girl relationships i guess.
and yea, if you were tryign hard to alienate and try and victimise me. hellyea i think you can pat yourself on the back for a job well done. So because i didn't give u a piece of MY garlic bread u turn around and try and gimme all that sort of nonsense ah. wow. gee.thanks. is it any wonder i was pissed off. lao hia. at the end of it all i was too pissed to say anything. i think someone else wasn't looking too happy either. now i wonder why. nb. i accept it could have beena joke at the start. but you went overboard...and constantly just rubbed more and more salt only.
wah. damn late again la. i need to sleep. getting my phone back tml wheehoo ^_^
