"denial is the most predictable of all human responses"
this was wad the Architect said to Neo after his stunning revelation that Zion would fall, and that Neo had to choose between the human race or Trinity.
I guess its true la, whenever we hear something we don't wanna hear, we just deny.
"no. cannot be. you joking right?"
that's wad i did. I cross referenced to 3 objective people who knew me quite well plus 1 very analytical person.
the best part of it?
all gave me the exact same answer. its like they were reading from a script liddat.
Wai wan agrees with me in questioning "wad is wrong with being too nicE?" lol. to be honest i really dun know la.
That was until Yap Heng came about and gave me his verdict. you would think he was shooting for goal la, with the accuracy of his answer.
"i think you should try to be yourself. not the yourself you think that others percieve u to be, but the yourself that you truly are."
bang.bullseye. wadever you wanna use to describe an accurate assumption.
I think since sec sch, i've constantly been trying to alter myself to suit others. Its like if i know u dun like this part of me, i try to change that whenever i talk to you. and its partly cause of my parents. like my father always asks me to give way to my mum, like change some of my behaviour which might irritate my mum. and i guess it kinda sticks.
and back to the million-dollar-question (to me la)
wad is the true me really like.
to be honest..i don't know. I'm really lost as to what i truly am like. Guess this is gonna take some time to find out, another headache i guess lol.
anyway thanks to Jun Liang, Thiru and Yap Heng for their honest opinions and to a few others for giving some general comments.
